The completion ceremony of the Spring Class at the Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning – Goodnews Mandarin Academy was a resounding success, marked by joy, pride, and a communal spirit of achievement.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome from the principal, who commended the students for their hard work, dedication, and perseverance throughout the course. The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of certificates. One by one, the students were called upon the stage to receive their certificates. Two outstanding students completed the Spring Class with Perfect Attendance. How impressive!
The other highlight was the final culture class we arranged for the students. It was the 湯圓 (tangyuan, glutinous rice balls)- making activity. Tangyuan is a popular and traditional Taiwanese desert. People eat the tangyuan in different festivals and occasions. TCML students had the hands on experience making the glutinous rice balls and enjoyed the came-out together.
